Learn how Vectr Solutions helped this Education Nonprofit achieve test center registration excellence
Problem
A mission-driven nonprofit founded in 1900, this organization aims to connect students to education opportunities. With 6,000+ global educational institution members, this education nonprofit promotes excellence and equity. Annually, they offer college readiness programs, including SAT, AP, and Big Future, to 7 million+ students.
The organization grappled with an outdated and cumbersome process for over 7,000 test centers renewing their test center eligibility. Test Coordinators submitted applications via mail-in paper, adding significant delays to the renewal process. Moreover, the application process involved navigating a complex web of rules, regulations, and data requirements, making it a tedious and time-consuming endeavor for potential test centers.
What We Did
The organization partnered with Vectr Solutions to enhance the way domestic and international test centers registered to administer the SAT. The Test Center Renewal form was designed to meet the needs of Test Center Coordinators and ensuring a high quality user experience.
Core Capabilities include:
- Centralized system validations to ensure high-quality data entry
- Improved user experience and navigation for Test Coordinators
- Automated action requests to coordinate with third-party vendors
- Consolidated system integration across three applications
- Enabled document generation for test center renewal application confirmation
Outcome
The SAT now employs the Test Center Renewal (TCR) system, a vital update that has enabled more schools to become test centers. Consequently, this has made the SAT more accessible to a larger number of students. Additionally, the streamlined process reduces the time and effort previously expended by applicant test centers.
