Problem
The Mississippi Department of Employment Security (MDES) is the state agency responsible for delivering employment services, administering workforce programs, and managing unemployment insurance for residents of Mississippi. As part of its workforce development mission, MDES oversees apprenticeship programs that connect job seekers, training providers, and employers across the state.
Previously, these programs were managed using fragmented spreadsheets and manual workflows—making it difficult to scale outreach, maintain accurate contact records, or route candidate inquiries efficiently. This limited MDES’s ability to engage partners, track progress, and gain clear visibility into apprenticeship activities statewide.
MDES needed a secure, cloud-based solution to centralize program data, automate intake processes, and support scalable outreach—while ensuring compliance with state-level security standards.
What We Did
Vectr Solutions partnered with MDES to implement a secure, scalable Salesforce Service Cloud solution designed specifically to support the state’s apprenticeship programs.
